Gina's Monthly Challenge

This Month Gina has set both a colour and sketch challenge in one. Gina has asked that we use Whisper White, Pretty in Pink, Close to Cocoa and Chocolate Chip along with this sketch from http://sketches-r-us.blogspot.com/
Here is my creation using, Berry Bliss DSP, Whisper White, Chocolate Chip and Close to Cocoa Card, Hodge Podge Hardware along with Say It With Scallops and Priceless stamp sets from Stampin Up. I love this colour combination. It always looks so girly!!!

Makeesha's Inspiration Colour Challenge 6

Makeesha has set yet another colour challenge, using Pumpkin Pie, Regal Rose, Purely Pomegranate (or Rose Red) and Whisper White. I really enjoyed using this colour combination along with my absolute favourite DSP - Bali Breeze. For this card I took the sketch from Gina's monthly challenge.

For this Challenge I have used Stampin Ups Bali Breeze DSP, a piece of Hodge Podge Hardware, Purely Pomegranate Ribbon, Felt Flowers (from the SU Summer Catalogue) and the Eastern Blooms Stamp Set. I also added in some Pumpkin Pie and Whisper White Card and used my scallop edge punch.

Emy's 1st Birthday Party!

My little boy, Emerson celebrated his birthday last Monday. We held a party for him so he could celebrate with all his friends and family. For this special occassion I made him another cake, this time a Cheeky Monkey. I had such a fun time making it! Can't wait for next year.

A special Card for A Special Little Boy......My Boy!

This week I had so much fun with Makeesha's Sketch Challenge. It was the perfect layout for a layered 3 part window slide card (that's a mouthful!!!). And it just happened to be the week of my little boy, Emerson's first birthday.

At first you just see this......

Then this...

And finally, this!
I'm really happy with how it turned out (I should be... I worked on it for 2 nights into the wee hours of the morning. All that layering and positioning takes time).

My Recipe:
Paper: East Coast Prep DSP, Always Artichoke and Whisper White.
Stamps: SU Wild About You and SU Good Times (2003)
Extras: Wild Wasabi Double Stitched Ribbon, Mini White Brads and a green rectangular label holder.

Check back at my blog to see how my little boy enjoyed his big day!!

Makeesha' Inspiration Challenge 5

Makeesha has set this photo for Colour inspiration Challenge 5. I loved the colours in this challenge even though I'm not totally happy with my design, but with renovations still continuing in the house .....time is limited. For this creation I have used Whisper White, Bashful Blue and Night of Navy SU card stock, along with my new Botanical Blossoms Stamp Set. To finish it off I've added the sentiment from the Say It with Scallops Stamp Set along with a little River Rock Ribbon and four white brads.
