Our 2010-2011 Ideas and Catalogue Book Launch Party is fast approaching.  We hope you'll frock up with us and come along for a great night of fun.

Date: Wednesday 15th September
Time: 7.00pm
Where: Parkview Cafe (across the road from the Brolga Theatre).
Cost: $20 (this includes your catalogue, hot nibblies, tea/coffee, champagne and a selection of make and take activities from the new catalogue).

Our August Class is going to be Yummmmmmmmmyyyyyyyyy!!!!

Our August Class is quickly approaching! This class is all about fun ways to give sweet treats as gifts.

You will make:
1.Treat Cup Flower
2. Treat Cup Male Card (possibly for Father's Day)
3. Box in a Bag
4. Sweet Treats Bottle Hanger (for Wine or Spirits), and
5. Lollypop Holder

For the treat cups you will need to bring along a bag of mini treats. These could be Tic Tacs, Mini M&Ms, Mini Musks or Mini Mints. Mary Delicious on Kent Street in Maryborough should also be able to provide some other sweet little yummy ideas. If you have any question please send Helen or I a  message or leave a comment on this blog.

When: Wednesday 25th August

More cute ideas with Treat Cups!

Hi!! Just a quick post today to show you one of the items we will be making at our Sweet About You!!!! Class on the 25th of August.  This one has been created for Father's Day (boy that has snuck up quickly!!!) but can be changed for a male birthday card.

Hopefully I'll have a post with all the details of this yummy little class in the next couple days.  Enjoy the last few hours of the weekend!!!

Testing out some new class ideas!

After working full time for the past three weeks I'm now looking forward to spending some time creating and enjoying my beautiful little ones.  Here's a couple of little creations that you will see in some of our up and coming classes.

The first one is a little treat flower filled with mini M&Ms.  THis little cutie uses Stampin Up's Treat Cups and Scallop Circle Die, plus the delicious Melon Mambo Spotted Ribbon.  

Then finally I had a play with making distressed flowers using the scallop circle and circle punches.  I found these on one of my blog journeys...hopefully I'll be able to post the link soon (just need to find it!).

Keep watching  for the details of our next class, on the 25th of August. I'll give you a little hint.....everything revolves around treats!! 

A quick creation!

I haven't had much creative time of late...working full time and trying to run a household of 4, doesn't leave much free time (unfortuately)! I quickly whipped up this little card last weekend.  I love this colour scheme...but then again I love anything with Kraft.  To add a bit of something special to the butterflies, I embossed the white floral images. (It's a pitty this hasn't come out in the pic).

More little people shoes...this time for Giselle!

I'm fine tunning my mary jane pattern.  These little tootsy covers have turned out so much better than my first pair for Gracey.  I've also added a little beanie/hair clip to finish off the outfit.

A little Something I whipped up tonight...Dorothy Shoes!

These little cuties were so very easy to make and took only very little time.  I think you'll be seeing more of these.  Let's hope when I try them on Gracey tomorrow, that they fit. If not, we welcomed little Elsie Olive into the Board Family today...perhaps they'll fit her tiny little feet!

Missing in Action for a bit!

Hi All!
I've been somewhat missing in action from my creative displays.  Gracey is turning 1 soon, so It's Decoration Central at my house at the moment.  Everywhere you look in my spareroom is pink, red and butterflies.  Plus I've been cooking and sewing for the big day.

A couple weekends ago, I did find the time to make these gorgeous Stationery Box Sets.  They fold out from a cute little box and become a place to organise cards, tags, gift cards, notepad, stamps and a pen. When I saw the template on SCS, I had to make a couple.

I've also had a play with my Big Shot Top Note Die, creating the patchwork cards and gift bag.

Good Morning Sunshine Stationary Class

For our next class we will be using the Design Series Paper, Good Morning Sunshine to make a post-it note/calendar holder, a shopping list holder and a cute little handbag greeting card using the Top Note die-cut.

During this class we will look at using Sanding Blocks and the use of Die-Cut Machines in paper craft.

This weekends creations!

This weekend I made some double slide cards.  These are my favourite thing at the moment.  They are super easy to make once you watch this tutorial over at Dawn's Studio.  You wouldn't believe it, but the sliding mechanism works on a piece of grocery bag. I love how you get two surprises when you pull the top tab out.  Definately one for an up and coming class!

I also got to play with my new favourite toy, my embossing gun.  I embossed the bird cage and vine using clear embossing powder and versa marker. For the flowers I used my stampin write markers to match all the Soft Subtles paper.
